This privacy policy explains how Methics Oy (hereinafter referred to as “App Vendor”) uses the personal data that is collected during the usage of Alauda PBY mobile application. Alauda PBY app (hereinafter referred to as “the App”) is a part of the Mobile ID service. The other parts are a registration service and authentication/signing services. The App is part of an example Mobile ID service provided by the App Vendor. By using the App, you hereby consent to this Privacy Policy.
What data do we collect?
In connection with our authentication services, our mobile application collects the following data:
- mobile phone number (MSISDN)
- phone model, operating system and version
How do we collect your data?
The App does not collect or store any of your personal information you provided. When you register your identity, the App asks only for your phone number to verify that the number is in your possession.
Any personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, is collected only by the registration authority.
How do we store your data?
App vendor securely stores your data in a locked and secured place. App vendor will hold on to your data as long as certificate policy requires us to, up to 10 years. We need to hold the data for solving frauds and disputes.
Marketing
App vendor will not use or relinquish your data for marketing purposes.
What are your data protection rights?
Based on GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
The right to access – You have the right to request App vendor for copies of your personal data.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that App vendor correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request App vendor to complete information you believe is incomplete
The right to erasure – You have the right to request that App vendor erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to App vendor processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability – You have the right to request that App vendor transfers the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. If you would like to exercise any of these rights, please contact us.

App vendor keeps its privacy policy under regular review and places any updates on this privacy policy.
